Phenyl trimethicone(SY556)

Name: Phenyl trimethicone(SY556) 

It is a phenyl modified poly-siloxane. Because of the phenyl functional group on its side chain, it has good compatibility with organic oil, and can improve the properties of various cosmetics formulations. At the same time, it has a high refrative index to increase brightness. It is one of the good luster silicone oil. And it has not greasy, good permeability, forming a thin breathable membrane, light and soft. Suitable for sunscreen, color makeup, skin care, hair care formula, especially based on wax, mineral oil, ethanol.

Characteristic:

 Application：

 (1) Used as water repellent additive and to reduce the tackiness and stickiness of organic ingredients in formulations such as: skin lotions and creams,suntan lotions and sprays and pre-shave lotions. 

 (2) Used as a hair gloss agent in hair sprays, conditioners and grooming aids.
